Have you wondered what strata managers do? If so, why not just ask them?
Strata Community Australia [SCA] is the largest Australian industry group for strata managers and related strata stakeholders. So, what do they say their strata manager memebers do?
Here’s a short video that @SCANSW published last year explaining their role/s, work and value.
Some key points they make include:
Strata managers are licensed and qualified professionals.
Strata managers provide professional advice, guidance and facilitation navigating legal requirements.
They assist with record keeping, financial reporting convening meetings, arranging insurance, compliance and repairs and maintenance.
They administer [implement] strata building decisions.
Address routine and complex matters in a timely way.
As SCA members, strata managers have extra requirements under their Professional Standards Scheme.
So, now we all know.
