NSW Planning has released more details about its plans for higher density housing that’s more diverse and better.
They want more low and mid rise housing to fill the gap between detached homes and high-rise apartment buildings and are changing planning rules to unlock supply of low-rise housing like terraces and dual occupancies and mid-rise housing of up to 6 storeys in well-located areas and speed up these different housing types.
It’s great for the middle zone of strata title buildings, which many stakeholders consider to be the sweet [or Goldilocks] spot.
