South African strata title is a lot like Australian strata.
And, now a South African strata lawyer who’s transferred to Australian shores, is writing about it on Substack.
Fausto di Palma’s Shared Spaces is described as ‘your go-to source for legal insight, practical guidance, and sharp commentary on sectional title and community scheme law in South Africa’ and covers his insights into issues and happenings. And, I dare say that it is.
It’s a subscriber only service, but doesn’t involve making a Faustian bargain.
You can check out Shared Spaces here.
And, I welcome him and Shared Spaces to the Strata Substack community.
Fausto
It's my pleasure and will do more to promote your writing about strata issues as I want to hear more voices expressing their unique views.
And, I have a few ideas that I'd like to discuss. So, let's catch up when I'm next in Sydney.
What's your best email?
Mine is francesco@gostrata.com.au , so send it there.
Cheers
Francesco ...
Thank you for the kind words - and the clever “Faustian bargain” line gave me a proper chuckle.
I’ve been reading "GoStrata Media" for a couple of years now ahead of my move to Sydney, and your work was one of the things that inspired me to move my writing onto Substack. "Shared Spaces" is an attempt to bring together the insights I have gathered from nearly a decade in South Africa’s sectional title and community scheme space and now, more recently, from navigating NSW strata from the other side of the world.
There’s so much both jurisdictions can learn from each other, and I am hoping to use "Shared Spaces" to contribute meaningfully to that ongoing conversation.
Thanks again for the mention and the motivation.
