Bye Bye [Strata Commission] Baby

Strata insurance commissions started in the mid 1970s when the Bay City Rollers had the hit ‘Bye Bye Baby’.

And, if Insurance News is to be believed, it’s time to start playing that track in strata manager offices all over NSW as a retro reminder of the way it was back then. 

You see, they‘re reporting that the NSW Fair Trading is having meetings titled ‘banning commissions’, a ban ‘is absolutely on the table’, and, that a ban is a ‘forgone conclusion’.

In the meantime, we can just enjoy the innocent 50 year old fun of teenage heartthrobs in tartan spantz with big hair here.
